Sr QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
Join one of the fastest growing teams in the company as a Sr QA Automation engineer, you will
be on the front line of testing our solutions for premier clients like: Dunkin Donuts, HomeDepot,
Kraft Heinz, and many others. You should be a quick learner, and enthusiastic about learning
new technologies.
Responsibilities:
● Work with other QA members and developers, to help build a stable automation test
suite supporting critical projects that are based on Python and scala.
● Provide guidance with respect to framework and test tool selection.
● Participate in requirements and design review meetings to understand new features for
the purpose of building tests.
● Create test cases based on requirements that are derived from reviewing product
stories, discussions with Product Managers and Engineering at an early stage in agile
processes.
● Create bug reports and communicate issues with developers and other stakeholders.
● Tests should be executable on multiple test and staging environments.
● Document automation solutions so that they are easily understood and maintainable.
● Stay up-to-date with new technologies, operating systems, automated testing tools in
order to maintain an awareness of technological advances.
● Create test data to support test cases
Requirements
● Should have Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
● 4-5 years Experience building automated tests
● Solid Knowledge of SQL and scripting
● 3-5 years Experience in Python
● 1- 2 years Experience with API testing tools like Postman
● Experience with Jenkins/Hudson Continuous Integration Environment
● Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
● Detail-oriented, motivated, and results-driven, with a high level of energy, enthusiasm,
and initiative
● Experience with Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive is a big plus.
● Familiarity with the digital media / advertising industry is a big plus
